Three days ago, we had received a
splendid and historic visit by the US president, Barrack Obama. The first US
president that visited us after 48 years, when Lyndon Johnson paid the visit in
1966. During Obama’s visit to Malaysia,
it was greeted well by Malaysians yet certain individual did some small
demonstration in front of University of Malaya yesterday, when Obama attending
the town hall meeting with the youth and young leaders in UM.
It was handle wickedly and
harmless by the police. Yet the meeting was handle successfully and amazingly
has crowds gave applause every time when Obama spoken in Malay. Thank you Obama
for the short and unforgotten visit. This morning he flew to his final
destination of 10 days visit around Asian region, Philippines. Till we meet
again Mr. President.
And also, this morning, I was having
my brekie, and scrolling to know the latest update on current events. And, I
was awe-struck on a headline published by TMI, “Malaysia cannot succeed unless
equal opportunity given to non-Muslims, says Obama”.
The headline seems confusing and lead
misperception. Even the article portray that Malaysia is declining the equal
rights of other religion. Which, this is wrong. We acknowledge other belief,
even we are Moslem. Constitution stated it.
I felt doubt on what was the
statement is all about. Then I do my own research. I started to search the real
video recorded on his speech during the town hall meeting. Definitely, what I was read and
what I was listen on the video, both are totally different. Obama was
emphasizing on the inviduals of each Malaysian that to respect each other and
embrace the uniqueness of Malaysians as a whole. Then, if each of Malaysian
does not play its role, then there you go, Malaysia will not succeed.
So the conclusion of the speech
was, each one of us, MALAYSIANS, we have to eliminate all negative feelings and
thinking such as discrimination, downgrading, or etc in order to contribute positivity
for our nation to be a better nation and society.
Do not spin la bro!
Hmmm… They thrilled when Obama
said the minority has to be given equal rights! Well, definitely government has
provided the partition inside the constitution. If you said the minority does
not given an equal treatment, then why do we have church? We have SMJK, right?
Loan for the non-Malays. Education? Well we have Lim Kwok Wing University, we
have University Technology MARA, we have Brickfields College, then, what else?
Little India is
a way loud to explain that equality, Petaling Street, Pasar Seni, KL Pac for
the artistes to perform and practice creative works. We celebrating Hari Raya,
Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Thaipusam and etc TOGETHER. Batu caves temple.
Well, simply to assure the public that there should be a topic to burst to
portray what the opposition struggling (equality) for was recognize by the
super power.

Yah! The
talking that you guys did, blaming government for not giving what the society
wants, and never ever convey to appreciate and being thankful for what we had
today. BEFORE you guys ‘killing’ your own brother just because of your
different political ideology. You guys are sucks! Stupid moron!
Come on! Stop
tricking and munching the people. We all want to live with a peaceful mind.
